Welcome to your healing journey
I am a compassionate yoga therapist and teacher who believes that wellness is a lifelong process of self discovery, practice, and deeper connection of the entire person with themselves, with others, and with the natural world. HeartHands Yoga Therapy classes combine postures, movement, breath work, relaxation
and meditation techniques, compassionate listening and lifestyle guidance to empower you on your unique healing path. Through small group classes at the studio, personalized private sessions, online courses, or workshops and retreats, it is my hope and great honor to be your gentle guide as you move into a greater experience of ease, comfort, and connection throughout your daily life.

A bit more about my personal
yoga story...
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS). I've been a yoga practitioner for over 25 years and received my 200-hour teacher training from Loyola Marymount University's Extension Yoga Program in December of 2017. I completed two additional years of training at LMU through the highly-respected Yoga Therapy Rx program. In December of 2022, I completed my 800Hr IAYT certification through the Innerpeace Yoga Therapy program directed by Michele Lawrence.
I have special interests in working with those recovering from injury or surgery, or who experience chronic pain, anxiety, depression, grief, or sleep issues. I offer private sessions either at your home or through my studio, as well as personalized classes for young adults, couples, and small groups online or in-person.
As an experienced yoga instructor, I specialize in co-creating personalized yoga practices for the whole person's health, recovery, empowerment and serenity. My sessions combine body alignment and balance techniques, breath work, vinyasa, visualization, restorative yoga, and pastoral listening to focus on increasing each individual's unique experience of a greater sense of ease and well-being.
I find a renewed sense of peace and wonder through a connection to the natural world, music, poetry, gardening and creation in community.
